Who makes a decent set of plug wires?

MSD. MSD, or MSD. Oh yea MSD /forums/images/icons/wink.gif The 8.5mm wires you buy from MSD are the same ones top fuel and funy cars use. I know, I have a buddy that makes the wires for a funny car driver. They just put the protective shield around them since they run so much spark.

There's a good kit of Cut-to-fit Taylor Spiro Pros from Summit Racing. Comes with everything including crimping tool. Cut to fit is an easy way to avoid excess wire sitting around. My K5 had dreadlocks when I got it.

When I got my Blazer it had the original wires on it with 150k on the clock. The only reaon I changed them is that a couple had burned on the manifolds. I put a factory set of Delcos back on with all the wire retainers, new cap & rotor and it runs like a champ.

yeah I could just go with Delco parts when I do the BB swap but I'm gonna shoot for mega torque numbers and I figure a good ignition system is the way to go. Plus it wont hurt the milage numbers either.

Everyone has talked about the big name brands, but I have had good luck with parts store wires. Specifically, I use Autozone's Double silicone. They seem to work well and are easy to warranty if there is a problem. I usually replace them every couple years, regardless.

I've had Taylor 8.8's on my truck for four years and have had no problems(about 50,000 miles)!

WOW, this makes me worry. I have Accel's on both of my trucks, one set has been on for a little over a year, and the other about 6 months. I guess I know where to start looking if one of them starts missing.

I have MSD superconductors on one truck. They're great.

The other truck has Discount Auto specials...total sh1t! All are waaayyy too long. They're all tied up all over teh place. They will be replaced with MSD as $$$ allows
