Maybe this is just coincedence, but I took a set of Superlift springs off the front of my 89, and eventually gonna put in BDS ones. Both springs are 8". I have the SLs sitting on the ground, and for sh!ts and giggles I put the BDS ones next to it. Other than the length (the SL are used, BDS are new) they looked like the same spring. The ends were the same, same sliders, same shims (tho not a biggy), THEY EVEN HAVE THE SAME PART NUMBER!!!!!!! I looked on BDS' site, and it was a good number. But there is no number on SL's site. I bought the SLs knowing they were SLs, but did I get BDS instead??? The number on the springs are 001801.

same springs then why the change??
Because I sold the so-called Superlift springs. Never really payed attention to the numbers on either, so never worried about it. I got the springs from Woodchuck (Bret, SweetK30) and the SL last year or so from a guy on Pirate. Now that I think about it, Superlift uses a different number system on thier springs. Guess I paid $150 for BDS springs....(not the new ones)

You sure the Superlifts are Superlift? As in where ever you bought them sent the wrong ones?
I've heard good things about BDS and mostly negative about Superlift so it will be a surprise if they are the same spring

I was a little ticked when they both had the same number on them. I don't think Bret would screw somebody over like that, so something has to be fishy with the Superlifts. Now that I look back on it, it's pretty funny.
na i wouldnt screw ya over. 
i have a set of 6" super lifts in a truck brand new. and thay had no sliders and bend over clamps on them. didnt look close to the bds springs.
i think you got a smokin deal on the wrong springs sold but you got a set of bds instead. oh well. new springs wont kill ya.

I'm not complaining. But I probly should cause I sold the ones that came out of the truck for $100.
