Who off-roads a manual?

yeah i got over that 2wd stick when i went to look at it and the clutch pedal was GONE and the rest of the truck wasn't worth it to scrap... but i found an '86 Blazer the a 465/208 in it... i see a 465/241-205 in my future...!

plus, the deal on the blazer is right... anyone remember monster garage...?! FREEEEBIE...

so the 465-203-205 combo probly isnt worth the big $$ unless i need uber deep gearing?

I'd drive the 465/205 combo first and make your decision from there. granny in the trans and low in the tcase is a low, strong gear setup. It's even deeper than if you were to run a doubler with your 400. Cool stuff.
