im lookin to get some new or used 38 sx super swampers and i was wondering how you guys like them , if they are ok on the street and what kind of mileage you get out of them?

I used to run a set of 35" sx's. Stiff as a board in the sidewall. Cupped out pretty quickly, although I didn't rotate them enough. Nowhere near round in the morning. Just about like most bias ply aggressive tires.

I used to run 38" SX's on my truck. I recently sold them so I could buy a tire that was actualy round. I dont know if I got a bad set or what, but they never smoothed out. I ran mine at around 20 psi to try and get decent tread contact so that probably didnt help the flat spotting, but if you ran them at any higher psi they would hardly be riding on any tread. As it was it only rode on the center lugs. They may be a great tire off road, I never got a chance to try them out, but imo they suck on road.

I used to run a set of 35x15.50's. They are an excellent off-road tire. The side wall tread really seems to work in the ruts and they have been as tough as nails in my experience. That said, I will echo that they are horrible on the street. They flat spot worse than any tire I have ever had. If you plan on streeting them a lot, get something else IMHO.
