Who says you can\'t get good flex from stock springs and add a leafs?
Check it..... And this one...
Now I know it's not anything like the flex you'd get from 57' springs or the "Springer" suspension....But for stock springs with add a leafs...I'd say it flexes pretty good.... /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Just wonderin', what size tires you got on there? I've got 33's, and need a little more clearance. Been thinking about putting on Add a leafs. Flex looks good!

georgiared84- Those are cheap a$$ 33's from Les Schawb. Since that picture, I've blown out the sidewall on one of them. Decent for mud, but the sidewallsare weak...No good for rocks.

It had just 4" Rancho blocks, then to fix the saggy butt thing, I got some stock springs with the add-a-leaf already installed. Cured the saggy butt and then some. I would imagine it's about 5.5" in the back. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

These are some old pictures from the blazer I used to own. I also have the factory springs with the four in blocks and add a leaf. The tires are 35x14.50 SSR's. The only thing I wish I would have done is relocate the shocks, but I never got around to it. http://community.webshots.com/album/43611334jpPkeU
Re: Who says you can\'t get good flex from stock springs and add a leafs?
I actually got the idea from Marv Springer. The front is a "buggy spring". There is a seperate spring attached to the from that is attached to the main spring. When the front starts to droop the spring attached to the from folds away and produces the extra droop. I also relocated the shock mount and put on 9012's. It works very well as you can see. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

I dont have any pics but the last time I had mine on a RTI ? ramp I did a little over 900. What ever that means ? All I know is it was good enough to win me a free dinner.
all I have is stock suspention with 33s. I did have the sway bar disconnected. though.
