I can't keep my bolts tight with all of them there. I'd hate to be short 1 to start with.
No, dont think its a problem as the load would be more at the top of the adaptor since the mount is in the middle and the top of the adaptor would make a "pull effect" with the weight of the t-case and tranny on each side.
I'd tend to agree that as long as you can keep the bolts tight, it probably won't hurt things to be missing.
On another note though, is there a gasket between the adapter and that 465? It was pretty much decided that the gasket was pretty critical in regards to the tranny bearings, right? (I just noticed what looks like a bunch of sealant)

Is there enough room behind the broken part to use a large, thick washer under the bolt? That way you could at least get a bit of clamping force there.

Better find out how/why it broke, otherwise it will repeat.
