Who uses tube doors in the mud?

Well yeah I guess it is kind of a dump question :haha:

I'll just stick to 2wd in the mud after I do them

I will have to give up mud. I don't like it much anyways. Too messy and a ton of time has to be spent cleaning.

2wd donuts are way funner anyways.

Well if you give up mud, where else can you wheel in Sarasota? No rocks, no large hills or mountains, just swamp and mud. Keep in mind that what looks cool isn't always practical for your type of wheeling. If anything, build soft doors for it. If you want to get creative build a two piece soft door.

Regular doors with the windows down will fill the truck with mud.

Yes, yes they will. Don`t ask how I know:doah:

I was thinking last night that I could make a vinyl cover for the doors that uses snaps.

And I think I may have found some rocks :pimp:. It needs a tag though becuase I'll have to drive there

They have big rock piles that block of the trail under these power lines from the landfill.

And I can always wheel on dirt piles. Construction will probably stop for a few years (recesion type of deal) so there will be some left.

Be sure to fix that frame before driving there.

When I get the tube for the doors I'll get some for the frame also.

You should have seen how loose the bodymounts were also. My arms got tired tightening them up :haha:

Tightening those mounts will probably make a big difference if they were that loose. Also keep in mine that it's a good idea to take a day just to re tighten or check every bolt you can see. they do tend to back out when you run them off road as hard as some of us do.

I have always wanted to do this...

make tube doors...
and you could do that....
clip on a bottom vinyl piece then
a 3rd option to put a jeep style top window in.. my bro has a window on his jeep.. has slide glass windows... and unsnaps and comes off.. could use that..

but tube doors and this project is the lowest priority for me right now...

sounds like you need a york too.. :haha:
York?

I could make an extra set if some one wanted them. I have 4 pairs of donor doors :eek1:

I don't want to run into vendor problems though so I probably wont.

Ahh, I didn't feel like cleaning the hose and impact up :D
