Me and Justin (bigbadchev84) have been talking about doing a 1st Gen BBQ/Camping/Wheeling trip . We seem to have more than enough guys in WA, OR and N. CA

Who would be interested?

Any preferences on dates?

someplace kinda centrally located...

I dunno about anyone else, but I think it'd be fun. I'm already planning on heading up north on I-80 to Boise and back down through salt lake city on the way to blazerbash in September and might be able to just take I-5 up farther north instead before cutting over.

Earlier than that might be kinda tough but it's actually not that far so maybe I could squeeze a long weekend in somewhere in June.

Im In!!! Gonna have to do some scouting on some places, probably just moderate to mild trails so everyone can enjoy would probably be best.

I think that would be awesome.:D It would be really cool to meet some of you guys.

My target date is June 30th. Maybe if the first gen gods look down at me with a smile, I can get it done sooner.

Sounds like a great idea. My Jimmy has no expected completion date.
If the truck doesn't sell, maybe I will bring it?

I'd be up for some Oregon area (Medfordish :dunno:) Wheelin'.

I might be able to do a Meadow Lake area trip. What's up with the trip being called a Short wheel base run?

I'm not sure, after posting up the link I started looking at the "packages". I wasn't real clear about what was being purchased for the online registration, but if you download the PDF registration it has a lot more info. - However not so much that I wont actually call them before buying anything.

I know this from last year but - anyone interested in meeting for a small trip and bbq?

If you guys want to come to Northern Nevada I can definitely be a tour guide.

I would be interested, but I'm pretty sure my rig won't be coming...

Maybe by the 2012 bbq I could bring my junk along.:smirk:

I think that means you're the host. Oroville is doable.

What ever would work. :waytogo: I would just really like to see a bunch of 1st gens all at the same spot. Maybe even a one night camping trip up in the hills. Ya know, bring up a bunch of filled coolers, come home with empty coolers, type of thing.:D

Seriously a BBQ and some family oriented wheeling could happen around late July?

I love to see I'm not the only one whose target date went by the wayside:whistle:

Hey, I didn't put what year. :deal: :haha:

I still don't think that I could make that with a 2011 date now, even if I had a bag full of money to throw at it.

I have pretty much gave up on any time frame. :doah: When it gets done, I guess that means I can drive it. :smirk:
