ha ha ha....my girlfriend and i were just talking about these dudes tonight.....heres what happened...
we were coming back after dropping my truck off, and this dude in a lowered civic with the coffee can exaust kept revving up his engine...at the next light what did we see?? he pulled up right next to us...now we were in our 2001 volvo wagon (which by the way is turbo charged) and i new that "type r" or not, the turbo wagon could take him..when the light turned green i mashed it, but he didnt bite, but at the last light out of town, i did it again, and he bit!! he gave the little civic all she had, but then we flew past him laughing about the fact that in the back window of our wagon we have one of those Winnie-the-pooh sun shades for the baby!!!! we laughed all the way home!!!

sorry this is long, but it was pretty funny!!

Speakin of which ... yesterday on the way home from work ... I saw what appeared to be a restored Chevette(shitvette) in the parking lot, WTF? Then this morning on the way in I saw what appeared to be a restored Ford Pinto hatch back in the same parking lot! Both had awesome paint jobs and looked clean, but WTF? ... again!

this is not with the new vettes, but with the 80's vettes. Our IROC camaro has been "played with" mildly. Well, that sucker will leave some of those stock vettes behind and the people just don't understand cause they have a "vette". Ooo! I love that car!!!! We got some new cooper Z-rated tires on it and it doesn't spin at all when you mash on it. All that power goes to the ground! Just don't mash on it when turning....

...it gets kinda scary. Hee hee!!!

LOL Smarta$$!!! They were out of the Foldgers, so I have to settle for my GReddy...

One thing that is nice though, it doesn't sound super loud like the Hondas running around. They sound like weedwackers on steroids. This sounds like a Porsche..... Low mellow tone at idle and deep throaty tone well on the throttle!
Not the raspy weed wacker/honda sound!

Hey emmett.. Back on my Talon and eclipse Turbos I had exhaust like that... changed muffs though... hate that sh#ty rice sound... Like a glasspack on a V8 that's been kicked in the nuts LOL... Did a fair amount to the old AWD Talon... That baby spanked my buddy's 95 5.0 Stang... Boy was he PISTED! I laughed my butt off...

I repect the rice speed to a point... just no the stupid huge wins, jap stickers, etc. Speed and looking cool is alright w/ me
