who wants a good laugh!?!?!?!

I like the Eclipses.. That may be my next "car" purchase. I would like to have on of the last years of the AWD Turbos with the large front intercooler opening... Either that or a new Subaru WRX!!!

I love AWD and turbos!! Ever hear of Bushar(sp?) Racing? they are pulling 400-500+ HP out of the Talons and Eclipses...

I like going with HP items, wheels and some interior stuff, but I dont really like the big wings and tons of ground effects. I lke sutle ground effects and maybe a 2nd Gen RX-7 style hood scoop, but not much beyond that.... And I especially dont like all the stickers!

I grew up with Hotd Rods.. GTO's, Stangs, Camaros, etc.. But i kind of like the import scene a little better now. It is amazing the power they pull out of some of those things!

The 1LE package is a rare large brake package and I think it also has a larger swaybars... Might be on your code sticker in the console or whereever they put'em in those things...

I seem to recall that the 1LE package was only available in a stripped down version of the Camaro. No A/C, etc. It was aimed at the SCCA showroom stock racing crowds. Sort of gave them an edge to have such a package available as "factory equipment". I think it also included some pretty fancy baffles in the fuel tank so the pickup would always have plenty of fuel available during hard cornering and braking, even when the tank was near empty.

Not the sort of car that you would want to have as a daily driver in central Texas during the summer!

It's a great day to be alive...

Well, it's got a/c and everything so if that's the case, then it isn't the 1le package. But...the package we have was only put in 12,000 models..so tis a rare bird.

Oh yeah I know of Bushar Racing... order my intercooler and some other items from them. Extreme motorsports is the best place I found on the web for stuff... got a turbo timer and HKS boost controller there. There is a place here in town that specializes in DSM's so picked up some sweet stuff there... a modified aftermarket turbo... when she was done it screamed pretty good. I have some sweet pics of me roasting all 4 tires somewhere around here.
All the talon had was a manual boost controller on it when I toasted that 5Slow... Sucka flat out flew! I'm looking at picking up a friend of mine's boyfriend's Eclipse... is a non-turbo and needs a tranny though

Was a nice daily driver. Even with the mods it nailed down 22mpg...little more if I switched setting and drove nice LOL.
Harry is right about 1LE... cool package, but I would rather get some big clampers from Buer. Gotta love the Irocs... never own one of them, but 2 3rd gen Trans Ams and a 2nd Gen Camaro have been in my garage... Wish I still hand funds for toys like that.
