I think selectable lockers are the biggest crock of crap hype that has ever hit the four wheeling market. Take your foot off the gas if you want it to unlock

I love my ARB..it rocks...
Since my rig hooks up...
I don't need a front locker all the time..
I can save some front end parts...too..
Handling on tite trails is easier also..

To know a ARB...You have to have one.. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
It was WELL worth the extra $100!!! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

Extra $100?

Even at dealer cost, its nearly twice as expensive to get an ARB and compressor as it is to go Detroit.

Saving your lockers for when you're stuck is like saving your 4wd IMO.......stupid.

Oh Yeah? Well, I happen to think anyone who doesnt have a twin sticked NP205 is missing out and shouldn't be allowed on the trails. In fact, if you have a non-twin sticked NP205, please do yourself a favor and put an insurance policy on yourself with me the beneficeary and pull the plug. A'men Brothers! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I don't worry about my Detroit locking up - I just leave the frontend "in" and "kick out" the rear, then hit the cutting brake and its Aces Baby - Yeah!!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

P.S. please don't pull the plug and put the insurance policy in my name - this was strictly a joke. Er, was it? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I agree with you on the twin stick, Neil. Definitely in the works for me. Once I get it, I am sure that I will wonder how I lived without it.

i run an electrac in the front. i like it.
tim, im twin sticked and are UNLOCKED in the front and my 126"wb truck will out turn a stock blazer in the woods. an auto locker in the front would kill me. matter of fact i have locked the electrac and tried to steer in mud/offroad and its not even funny how wide it makes the turns.

BUT, maybe a thickset would sell, but i doubt 1000. maybe 200-300

I agree, I recently went to 5.13's and was forced to change carriers and again I said f-it its time for a detroit.

I would have bought a thick gearset if I had the opportunity.
