Who's good with wiring? Caught fire

There is also the Electronic Spark Control (ESC) system in the 80s, but it was added onto the standard harness and can be removed safely without mods.

And the turn signal/markers (?) in bumper right? And four vs. two headlights.

Nothing devastating if not correct, but will complicate things. Still a lot easier to correct minor differences like that, than multiple burned wires.

That harness will split out of the bulkhead connection.
IIRC.
Front light harness and rear light harness both can br removed from the main, (engine) harness.

I figured TBI probably wouldn’t work….the 84 and 85s are 350s with quadrajets, both autos. There is also a 84 with a 6.2 diesel which I figure won’t work either.
@Chickntrk

Would you be interested in pulling the wiring harness for the 84 with the 6.2 ? I will certainly accommodate you for your efforts. It would not hurt me to have an extra harness for my 85 .

I understand if you are not interested but if so, let me know.

thanks,
Rob
