Hey guys,

I am looking at trying to design several parts for my '74 K5.
I'm running Pro-E and was about to start measuring and modeling when I thought to do a search....

Lookie what I found:

http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=125347&highlight=IGES

Unfortunately that thread died a while back and was based on 2-D...

So, does anyone have Pro-E, IGES or STEP files of a K5 that I could use to get started. I'd definitely be willing to share anything I come up with in the future!

(I can work off from anything from '73 to 92 and modify it if I need to)

Thanks,

-Ben

I can probably get the .3ds converted to something Pro could read.
How big are your files? Something we could try to Email?

Thanks,

-Ben

Someone over at http://www.maxforums.org did a complete model of a mid 70's K5.. Complete with mud and grime.. I think I posted it over on the offroad.com boards a couple years back.. *searching*

ah, found it here, but alas, I mooched the bandwith from maxforums and didnt actually upload'm anywhere.. Maxforums doesnt archive posts as far back as offroad does I guess... Sad. It was badass.

Well, this post was worthless but I shared my story, so now I can die happy.

yup if not i could throw it up on my webserver for you to download, whats your email? we can try that first.

Have you tried this site: http://cben.net/

Vehicles/trucks/page 4 - I found a 1500 as a reference. They have a lot of 2d and 3d symbols. I work in 2d. I get a lot of symbols off from this site.

i dont even have 3d software, but I want to get some to see the 3d images. What versions do you have it in?

I'd love a copy. I may get a new copy of 3DS Max from my insurance here soon. It'd be good to refresh my skills on a cool model. :)

email: cow-eater at comcast dot net

Format: *.3ds, *.dwg, or any mainstream format probably.

Thanks man!
