I need an accurate measurement from the top surface of bed rail to the highest point on the top of the cab. Need it like 2 days ago. :1zhelp:

Im getting a near solid 23 on the 83c10, and just under 23 on the 77c10. Could be due to cab bushings. Top of roof bubbles a little bit, but I would say 23.5 is the tallest it gets.

Wooo...thanks man!

So with clearance lights on the cab, I could probably add 1-2" to that...hmmmm

I'm trying to figure the total overall height of the dually from 2900 miles away. Shipping company needs to know.

64.5" to the bed rail, coupled with what you just told me puts me at about 88.5 or so. Add in 2" for clearance lights I'm ~91". 7'5" or so. Bleh. Can't be over 7'2" and still fit on a car carrier rig.

Arrrgghhhhh.....What an ass ache. :sign19:

I put rollers 235*75s on my K5 when I shipped it. Still taller than the carrier expected, and I payed an extra 200 because it meant they couldnt haul one more car on the load. I hauled the tires out myself.

I have 4 315/75/16 bfg's and two wheels that could be thrown on the truck. I'd have to get a couple junk yard wheels, but that's simple enough. I thought this would be an easy solution, but after talking to the transport people, they say I can only have 100lbs of parts, and NO personal property on the truck while it's being shipped. Well, one tire wheel combo weighs more than 100lbs, and there's six of them, so that idea is out.

This is a pain in the ass. :poo:
