Quick favor to ask, I am putting my front suspension together and hanging the 60 and need to check some specs. I am running different spring hangers and shackle hangers so nothing is stock anymore, but something seems "off". :dunno:
1) What is the installed width from the outside edge to the out side edge of your front springs measured right behind the front hanger?

2) How about at the rear ward end of the springs close to the shackle?

3) This is one for someone who has the front bumper off, what is the width of the actual frame rails on your rig?

4) Final question, what is the distance from centering pin to centering pin on the front springs?

I should've mentioned, I need these measurements for my K5, with factory length springs (NOT 52"s) they are lift springs, but that should not matter.

Thanks in advance  :D ;)

super lift 6" springs on my k30

34" outside to outside

32" pin to pin

28 outside to outside frame rails on front.

I have an 87 burb 1/2 ton. Here is what I came up with. Front frame rail 28 1/2"
Front spring 34 1/2. Same for rear spring. Center pin 32". Hope this helps.

ps, my wife thinks I'm crazy for doing this out in the street with people walking by looking at me like wtf.

We buy defective old trucks, brag about them online. Spend countless amounts of time and money on them and then weld steel tubing on them for no apparent reason and beat the **** out of them in the middle of nowhere. We Are crazy :haha:

You think thats bad, I read the title, thought, "well......OK, I guess," Had the tape measure out, and was unzipping my pants when I decided I better actually read the post...........:eek1:

Awesome !!!!! Thank you guys

Ok , with the numbers you guys have, I think I found my problem/ difference, with the front hangers I am running combined with the bushings in the front springs it is ending up about a 1/2-5/8" wider then it should be, so I think I've got a fix so solve the problem.

Oh and Fordum- glad you read the whole post :doah:, and really glad I only asked for numbers and not pics :eek1:
