This post is for the old timers out there like me who still have photos of when they got thier Blazer/Jimmy/Suburban brand new. Considering these trucks are now at least 20 Years old, there probably aren't a heck of a lot of CK5 members who bought one of these beauties "brand" new. Although there may be some folks here who have photos of when their father or other family member may have bought one.
Anyways, here is a picture of my new Blazer taken in spring of 1989. I actually wanted the Onyx Black, but so did everyone else and they were hard to find in the Northeast. I was impatient and ended up going with the Grey Metallic. Although long gone, she was a fine looking machine.
