Who's got their SBC out of the truck?

If someone has a SBC currently out of their truck (73-87), could you simply measure the distance between the motor mount through-bolt holes on your engine cradle?

I'm swapping in a SBC where the 6.2 was. I'm not sure on the engine mounts. Some say the SBC can use the same motor mounts that were on the 6.2 and others have said only a BBC will work with the 6.2 mounts. Anybody know for sure?

I am doing the same swap. I had 350 sbc and swapped in 6.2. I used the same engine mounts

ive got 17" from bolt to bolt with 89 K20 mounts on a 350

but i THINK 6.2's use the same mounts

I swapped out a 6.2 for a 350 over christmas. I used the same mounts.
