who\'s running 4\" lift and a sye with non cv shaft?

i'm about to install my 4" lift and a 14 bolt rear. i installed a sye on a 241 that's also going in, which comes with 1310 cv yoke. i was thinking of installing a 1350 non-cv yoke and running a non-cv driveshaft. is this going to be too much lift to not have a cv driveshaft?

non cv should be fine on a 4" lift, I am running a 4" on my 90 K5, stock D/S w/slip yoke

BigDummy89K5 and I did the 241 SYE conversion on his 89 Blazer (and did the write-up on the home page)

He runs 4" of lift without a CV shaft and says it's just fine. He did swap a 1350 yoke onto the T-case, but it required some machining to make it work.

that's what i'm looking to do. anyone know the maximum angles a 1350 joint will do?

20 degrees IIRC. The 1410 and the 1310 will both do 30 degrees though...
