Another thread on here got me wondering, Whos weather stripping would you guys recommend? LMC or otherwise. Specifically referring to the window channels and wipers.

be prepared to be disappointed... I'd go to Classics, Softseal, anyone else before LMC for weatherstripping...

I got mine from http://www.truckandcarshop.com/ for my vents, but the holes for the brads didn't line up...other than that they fit pretty well...can't say for sure until get it running and put the top on...if I ever put the top on...

Do not mean to hijack, is Brothers any good? I just got a catalog in the mail today and they have their door seals on sale.

Wow, what a great and timely thread. I've been looking for a tailgate seal for my 1990 Burban for a long time. I checked out all the companies named in this thread and it looks like Truckandcarshop has them...and they're only $60 to boot. I ordered one. I hope the quality is and fit are good (fingerscrossed)!

classic all the way, I buy a lot form LMC but forget their weather striping :eek1: junk is way too nice a word for that ill fitting crap I sent back. On the plus side they took it back no problem.

Thanks for the help guys! Think I'm going to price out A1 and classic and see who comes out on top.

Yeah...that's one of the things I don't get...the weatherstripping price varies greatly from seller to seller...it definitely pays to shop around...and do it for each application...

When you guys say Classic, are you talking about Classic Parts of America - www.classicparts.com?

Weren't they called Classic Chevy Truck Parts or something similar a few years back?

That's the right place. I have bought all the weatherstripping for the top and the tailgate. I did have to buy one of the tailgate weatherstrips from LMC and just laying it out, it looks like it will take some work to make it fit.
