Why am I getting CB chatter through the PA speaker?

I bought a cheap PA speaker, and I did put it into the PA speaker output on the cobra 29 classic I just bought new. The PA speaker works, but its a bit low on volume. But the wierd thing is I'm getting CB radio noise through the PA speaker even though the CB is switched to PA and the PA speaker is NOT in the external speaker jack. What gives?


Nevermind..... just read that instruction manual.... I figured out all my issues. CB chatter through PA is normal and you adjust the volume on the PA using the Dynamike knob. So that's why they have instruction books!!!
