Why are .....

the bolts that came with my clocking ring long 3/4" long? These are the small screw cap bolts that bolt the ring to the t case. There is enought room fro at least a 1 1/4" long bolt. Just seems like ther ewould be less stress on it with longer bolts.

jaysyak68 had problems with those bolts... his case came off the back of the tranny... buy some new ones from mcmaster car.

yea i heard about that... who did you get your clocking ring from? i got mine from GLO and the threads on the bolts i got from him have 1" of threads

I got mine from GLO as well. The bolts Shawn sent with the ring were short and he later sent out new longer bolts to those who asked.

I got the ring from GLO like over 2 years ago...
