Why can't I reply?

When I try to reply to a post it says to click on icon to quick reply. When I do nothing happens.

How do you multi- quote? What's a Thread-jack? Do you need Thread-jack stands? Who has the most posts ever?Who can come up with the funniest smileIcons?

Pblaze: as long as you have a Hi-lift jack to properly hijack a thread, it's all good, unless you are in mud or sand, then you'll also need the base plate or a 4x6.

DDog: like said, press "quickreply" and start typing in the box at the bottom. Also, welcome to CK5. The bullsh1t can be thick at times, but it's only cause we care.

Hang in there, you get good after about 2000 posts......
Most browsers will jump you to that yellow box at the bottom of the thread when you click on the quick reply link.

You can click on the go advanced button and after you have posted a few times that will take you to a place you can post attachments.

I understand there is a section where you can do trial posts to learn the ropes.
I didn't hear about it until after about 500 had gone by...........

Pic which message you want to reply to.
Notice each post has a

or [quickreply] button. Click that one, THEN go down to the box you were using before and write your reply. When finished hit [post Quick Reply] button.

If you hit the [Go Advanced] button more options will pop up, that's the one I use if I post up pics or add smiley characters.

Now come on let's see that 2nd post buddy!

I understand your pain. CK5 is the ONLY site I have been on that doesn't allow you to just do a reply in the reply box and instead forces you to reply TO a post by clicking Quick Reply.

I complained before, got no where, so I just suck it up now!

If you scroll to the bottom of the page in the thread, at the bottom of the last thread, on the left there is a "New Reply" button. Click that and it will pull up a reply box for you to type in, with all of the advanced options to go along with it.

Just typing in the box at the bottom of the screen is useless, you must click one of the reply buttons first.

Thankyou 496 and everybody else. I was'nt expecting this many replies to this question. Great site and thankyou for the welcome. I have been reading alot of different posts and I am sure I will have many questions to come. Probably a little more technical than this one.
