i blew my blinker fuse and my brake light fuse in one day. put in a new blinker fuse and it was blown in a matter of 20 minutes. if i put a new fuse in for my brake lights, they only stay on. i just did my 465 swap, so i'm thinking maybe i need to adjust a brake light sensor, but i can't figure out where to start on why i'm blowing blinker fuses. i'm using a 20 fuse in the blinker and a 15 in the brake...i think. does this sound like the right size fuses? any thoughts??

Find out where the short is and fix it. More than likely is from bare wire or bad connection, i.e full of water/mud/dirt/crud.

yeah sounds like a short to me. few months back my tail lights did the same thing. turned out to be the wire for the back up lights was cut and was shorting on the frame causing the tail light fuse to blow. wired the two together and then it quit blowing fuses as well as giving me backup lights.:D

Check where the factory wire retention clips slide on the frame... They like to chafe the wires.. Mine did it and welded themselves into a nice little ball...
