Why doesnt anyone go high?

Lots of excellent points made here for lots of lift little
lift and no lift. My best advice to you is if you go over
a 6 inch lift get NATIONAL SPRINGS. The ride quality and
axle articulation are second to none on every rig I have
ever seen them on.!!!!!!!

Hey realsquash, my only point was that there was probably not much difference in flex between 4 and 6 inch kits, and a lot has to do with other stuff (sway bar etc.) Most of the K5's I have seen on the ramp go well over 800. Some are 4" and some are 6" lifts and most disconect the sway bar. It does not take a heavily modified K5 to ramp 1000. I did'nt mean to jump all over you with my first post (not enough sleep)

The big thing about being east of the Missippi river is that
if you live in a wooded area big lifts are just to damn big.
The trails I ride are tight from over hanging tree's.Any thing off camber around here means draging your windshield
across a tree!!!So around me the best lift is 4"-6" just enough to get a 33" to a 36" tire for ground clerance.I have
Big Dick springs in the front,Mine ramped an 872.Mine would
ramp alot higher exept I need to change my shocks out their
holding me up!!I've got 33" tsl's and I'm draging the drivers side fender flexed up!!this is my first time with a
lifted blazer, damn these things are flexy!!!I realy like the big dick springs, and you cant beat their waranty!
Just my thoughts,I couldn resist getting into the debate!LOL

IF IT AINT BIG IT AINT BAD!!!!!!
