Why is there a heep in the member\'s Rides section?

Actually the same one shown twice? That thing is taking up valuable system resources!/forums/images/icons/shocked.gif

To all their own. Pay your dues and you get the space, but I do agree that one is enough.

That is my "bucket" under it ;-)

Re: Why is there a heep in the member\'s Rides section?

yep i could see myself building a heep when the blazer becomes just too big for the trails. Of course with 1 ton chevy running gear /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Re: Why is there a heep in the member\'s Rides section?

Of course. I almost bought a jeep before I got the blazer. I bought the K5 because out of the box, it had more power, better ride, was safer, and parts are plentiful.

Re: Why is there a heep in the member\'s Rides section?

Because it is getting tore apart and all the goodies put into and 86 K5.

ALL Chevy, except for body and frame on the Jeep.
Actaull the body is already gone. And waiting on parts to arrive to complete the Blazer.

Hey, I paid my money. Had to put something there.

Two pictures? I only have one.

Mine had a 454, 350 trans, 205 xfer 14 bolt rear and a 10 bot front. All that is going in the Blazer, except a Dana 60 front and I am doing the dual t-case setup since I have a little more lenght.

Cant wait.

I don't have anything against Jeeps. Matter of fact, my favorite Jeep is the one that won the Four Wheeler mags TTC a couple years ago....that one built and driven by Sam Patton, from Sam's Off Road in Tulsa, OK.

While Sam has a bad ass Jeep, I have heard and read negative stuff about him. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif Guess it goes with the territory of having the "most bad assed Jeep" and also owning a shop, too. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

Re: Why is there a heep in the member\'s Rides section?

I do not have anything against Jeeps. Especially ones with Chevy components.
Sam's has a mostly bad reputation due to the attitudes of people that work there. Have you ever called and tried to get a price on something? + Those counter guys are full of it. I got a price for a 14 bolt Detroit locker of close to $400. I bought it here in Tulsa @ Harmon's which is mostly Jeep, for under $300.
OBTW, I did actually by something from Sams and got a great deal on it(compared to other places). Ramsey RE12000R for $900, but I think that is because I bought 2.
