why won't my front passenger side hub lock???

why won\'t my front passenger side hub lock???

Changing the front passenger side wheel bearings and races. I loosen the lug nuts, jack up the front tire, remove the tire, lock the hub and I can still spin it? I did the exact same thing when I did the drivers side and everything was fine. What am I missing??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

No, I mean I lock the hub, and I can still spin the rotor.

why shouldnt you be able to spin the rotor once the hubs are locked? if the tcase isnt in 4wd and only one hub is locked..it should spin..

unless the front diff is locked and both hubs are locked unless you are in 4WD (lock for an unconverted 203) it is posible to spin one rotor. go to howstuffworks.com to learn more than I want to type.

Chris (beater74), mission accomplished...new bearings and races in front wheels and got the new meats mounted on. I'll take some pics of my poser when I get a chance.
