I'm game. Steve has already mentioned doing Holy Cross this summer to me back a few months ago. We intend to do a lot of trail running in Co and Ut this year so get ready and lets go

I thought I was wrong once,
but I was mistaken

I would have to agree with you about having a k5 run this year maybe a few more than just one k5 run a year. I went last year and had a blast. looking forward to going on some runs this spring.

I will skip a "Big run" this summer, I need to find a place here in Colorado that has a tough trail and an easy trail in the same area so all can enjoy, but I need to pre run the trails so I think next year will work better. I plan on running quite a few Colorado trails this year including Holy Cross to find a suitable trail area.

Well here on the Western slope there is easy trails and narly trails.I live 6 miles fom BattleMent Mesa Trail which is rated an 8,I believe. Then done the road in Grand Junction is 21 Road which is really crazy!!Then there are miles and miles of dirt roads leading up on top anf the Flattops and up on Grand mesa. Some of which can be loads of fun when wet or snow covered. If you want an area with both than this is it.And Steve let me know when you plan to do Holycross.I did it last summer and it was a blast!!!Drove up did the trail drove no problem.Even did the three obstacles past the city.I didn't use the bypass and had no trouble on the spot with the tree and rock.Anyway let me know and if you want to do Battlement Mesa I'll so you the way.Brady

Any of you guys ever check out http://www.4x4trails.net They have a pretty good search among their own site for trails. Let me warn you now that its a bunch of j%#$ enthusiasts. However, there is very good info on trails, mostly in Colorado, including pictures, directions on how to get there, topo maps of the area, and reviews. Just wanted to let you know if you didn't already.
