Found a pretty good deal on one, rated for 10,000 but it needs a new deck and is too narrow for my truck. I was thinking of expanding it to match the outside width of the fenders, anyone done such a thing?

Widen a Bobcat trailer?

How wide is the deck? I am using an ex skidsteer trailer for my buggy. The buggy is 86" +/- outside of tire to outside of tire. I hang about 2" of tire off both sides, so far it is fine as the tires are 15" wide. I figure that with 13" of tire still on the trailer everything is fine.

The deck is only 76"
The fenders, which look plenty strong, are 9" appiece
I think I'd be a lot more comfortable with it wider- don't want 3" of each of my front 12.5's hangin' off.
