Who is a good source that will widen a factory wheel or that will build a factory looking wheel to your spec's

I need a set of 10 lug wheels made for the front of my cummins sled puller.....im am planning on using a 37 Spline 10 lug Dana 80 out of a 89-97 F-Superduty Ford for the rear axle and since im now running Ford Dana 60 hubs on the front of my 96 dodge and i also got 4340 forged 35 spline axles all through it, i am going to use the factory 10 lug 4x4 dually spacers on the truck and have a set of 12 inch wide BUDD style dually wheels built because the rules say that is you run dually tires on the rear the front tire has to be a BUDD style wheel, not a regular style wheel, they just dont say how wide the wheel can be......

the rear tires will be 33x12.50x16 (actually 305/70/16) Mickey Thompson Baja Claws or B.F. Goodrich A/T's in dually form aired up tight and touching, ill run a small spacer between them if need be, and the front tires will be 33x15.50x16 (actually 375/55/16) Mickey Thompson Baja Claws or 33x13.50x16 Super Swamper STS's, i wish they had the STS's in 33x14.50 in a 16 inch rim, all they have them in is 15's

I'm sure theres many out there but take a look at Stockton Wheel. Thay have building wheels for literally over a hundred years.

There was a place that did stuff for puller trucks in Mantua, Ohio It was called ATR or ETR, I can't remember. They did my 9 3/4 inch wide rims and made them 14 inches wide so I could put my 44 inch mudders on them. They were chrome wheels and they did a good job.

I personally will NEVER buy from Stockton Wheel ever again. Years ago I called and ordered Black powder coated "D" window wheels. What they sent me was American Racing black powder coated wheels with the red & Blue stripe on them. The same wheels I could have gotton ANYWHERE for like $52 a wheel I paid $100 a piece for.

I bought 5 at the time for my 70' 2wd Chevy pickup. The wheels did not say Americal Racing on them but because of the painted on pin stripeing it was obvious they were AR wheels. I looked at the SAME wheels at 4WP. I went with Stockton Wheel cause I DID NOT want the pin stripeing. Their brochure showed Black powder coated "D" window wheels, NO pin striping. I was told two to three weeks for delivery cause the had to powder coat them first. I NEVER said pin stripe them after powder coat.

When I called them on it the guy told me, Oh, I thought you wanted the pin stripe. I said it's NOT on my invoice and I NEVER said that period, It said right on it Black "D" window wheels. He said you can just take some paint thinner and rub the stripes off! :eek1:. I did not want to deal with the whole shipping all 5 god damn wheels back and wait for god knows how long for more to arrive. I told the guy you got to be kidding me! You guys F up and I should fix it!! I told him he should pay for return shipping and send me a new set of wheels. He said it was a special order so there was no returns. I told him I would NEVER recomend them to ANYONE ever again. I said it's in your brochure as a regular item! he said we make them to order so it's a special order. Then I said f**k you mother f**ker!! I knew it was a dead end phone call. So F**K Stockton Wheel!!!!

wow that sucks man, I've been dealing with stockton for years and never had an issue. I had a set of 17" dually wheels made in the big 6 lug IH pattern last year and they were perfect in every way. and fast to boot

i also asked what a set of 16x12 stock style steel wheels would cost, if 16.5's were more available still i would find a set of factory16.5 x 9.75 wheels, i actually gave 2 too a friend of mine a few years ago cause i only had 2 and just needed the tires, i think they got 2 full sets now though.....

see this is what i worry about, them not making the wheel correctly and then im stuck with it......

Stockton wheel has went to shit over the years, your best bet is Wheel Vintiques www.wheelvintiques.com or Pete Paulsen House of Wheels www.petepaulsen.com

i am going to email paulsen and vintiques right now, i kept the email so i can just send it to them......i just figured out wheel vintiques is completely useless, they dont do custom ordering, there isno way to email them about custom wheels.....

i found a guy in the town i live in that says he can widen them for me.....

So I talked to Stockton......they said to just widen the factory wheel would be 159.....to build all new wheels with my custom back spacing, thick centers and my bolt pattern would be 259 a wheel for their 24 series "power wagon" wheels.....i still got a few questions for them before i decide and im also waiting on Paulsen to email me back.....im going to see if they can add beadlocks to the custom wheels since they are 16's.....

found a guy in florida that will use my factory dually centers and aftermarket 12 inch wide rim shells with any back spacing i want (safely) for 100 a piece.....im waiting to find out how much for beadlocks.....

should have some sick looking wheels and he guarantees his wheels to have less run out than a factory steel wheel......
