The other day my wife rode in my Blazer (which she seldom does) cause her car was in the shop. Well, my seats are all ripped up and somehow she got something on her tan pants that she couldn't get off (personally I think it was from the seatbelt, not the seat) and she said they were ruined. She then said, "if I'm ever going to ride in this thing again you are going to have to get new upholstery." My jaw about hit the steering wheel. She never wants me to spend money on the Blazer, and now she's telling me to? I made sure she was serious and she said she was.
So, now to my question. Does anyone have an opinion on where the best place to get new seat upholstery is? I know of all the well known sources like LMC, Brothers, Jim Carters, Golden State, etc. but does anyone know of that secret source where a guy could get a really screamin' deal. I've checked the upholstery shops locally, and it looks like it would be best to try to recover them myself. Price is indeed and issue (I have 2 kids in college and another one starting this fall) but I do believe you get what you pay for for the most part. I guess I'm looking for a great deal on a good product. Don't want no junk I'll be replacing again in a couple of years.
So, any ideas out there?

I sure have been happy with Tim Christian at christianclassics.com - he knows 67-72 Chevy/GMC's and is a fellow enthusiast.

I can get you the stuff from LMC for $203.00 for the bucket seats and another $203 for the back seat plus shipping, I think I can have it drop shipped directly to you. They usually charge me around $30.00 for shipping. Let me know if you're interested.

Me too. I'm in a combined CRNA/MDA group, but we CRNA's are all but independent within the group.
I work as an independent contractor currently working 2 surgery centers and one hospital and do call at one little hospital near here. Life is good and I am having so much fun! Graduated a-school in 1999. Glad to know there are others like me on the board!

Do you know if it comes with hog rings and pliers so I can do the install myself?

They say each kit comes with hog rings, pliers and instructions but NO foam is included.
