My wife has always been grumpy when it came to riding in the blazer because it wasn't real convenient for her to climb in it. I used to carry around the step stool that she uses in the house. Well I got tired of listening to her, so I built a removable step she can use to get in the blazer. I coated it with spray-on-bedliner I bought from Autozone and welded "DP" on the step for a non-skid step. The bedliner coating was mostly so it won't mangle up my paint on my rock sliders, but I also mixed sand in the coating on the step for a better grip.
The step just slides onto the rock slider and slides off when your done with it. It seems to work pretty good and can hold my fat butt jumping up and down on it.
Gotta keep the wife happy! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
