natemc submitted a new Build:

"Wiggle Wagon"

This is a name save post for the trailer build thread that I get started on when I have more time. I pulled it 300+ miles this last weekend and it is, we'll, must I say. Awesome! :thumb:
Not sure if I should do the build thread here or in the trailer section. It's an offroad camp trailer not a haul my stuff to the beat down trailer. Dunno. You guys decide. The sneak peak was in the Sub build

The 83 k20 was the donor for this trailer. Cut the frame off just in front of the bed. Used 4"x4" tube for a cross member and tongue. Use 2"x3" tube for the diagonal. Hitche it up with a Pintle hitch. Cut the factory wiring at the bed, just behing the tank wires. Used a 4 pin trailer wiring kit to attach electrical.

It's too late now, but a lot of guys cut the frame farther forward, and then put a pickup box tool box in front of the box.

Good looking trailer!

That's definitely a good idea.

Looks proportional to your rig too.:waytogo:

Good idea if it is for a utility trailer.
Wheelbase is an issue enough offroad without adding the truck box.
I measured the center line to outside body. That's the length from hitch eye to first contact point for a turn. Basically draw a diagonal line from the eye to the frame rail.

Primer grey to match the limo. Adding a between the rails Craigslist box. Moving the rail rail box and 180 rotate to access from the tongue. Water jugs will ride in front of the boxes and propane on the tongue plumbed to the back.

Found me some goodies at the 4x4 store that have been on the shelf too long. Add a leaf, and two s10 blazer swing away spare tire racks. Plus a box full of goodies, brackets and such. $100 for everything. Wasn't gonna bitch too badly. They had a $50 sale tag on each tire rack.

I have a fuel tank from a multiquip trailer mount generator. It had a little incident with the tongue or jack. Can't quite remember why it really got taken off, but the only real damage is the fill neck is bent. I'll have to cut it off and fix it. Maybe I'll use rubber and mount the fill in the gas door of the bed.

Also, I'm hoping to get the donor trailer for my new axle to the house this weekend. It's a boat trailer and has 5 lug hubs. That's a pretty easy fix. I'm thinking I should be able to remove the 4" blocks and change to 56" springs with a shackle flip. Soften the trailer ride a bit and allow for better trail manners

Been thinking about building one of these. I had one that was made out of a 94 3/4 ton but I scrapped it. Really wish I would have hung onto it. I needed to free up some space so I put it up for sale but nobody wanted it so I loaded it up with a bunch of junk and hauled it to the scrap yard. :doah:

I've scrapped enough rigs in my passed too. I really wish I wouldve kept the truggy
