My buddy has a 04 Dodge 1 ton that he's gonna get rid of the wheels on for something different. They're 18x9s and though I usu dislike chromish stuff, his wheels are nice and he's selling them to me for a damn good deal. Figure I can put some streetish tires on it for daily driving with them if they'll work. Not sure of the wheel BS but we're gonna put one on my k5 to see if it'll work. Didn't know if they were 8x6.5 and if there might be any other problems. thanks for the help.
I've got d44/14bff BTW

They should be 8x6.5 , so yes they should bolt up.

that's what I figured. For some reason I'm thinking there's something else with the wheels that won't work with my k5.

fords metric 8 wont fit. however those dodge wheels are a deel backspace, might want to look into some spacers if its looks funny.

I'm not sure, I have never tried the wheels off my Dodge on my K5, mainly due to the fact that the axles are not under it currently:doah:, but I did borrow my buddies wheels and tires from his 05 Ram for my 00 Ram when I took it to a local diesel truck pull last summer, they fit with no issues. Rams do have more or less (I forget) backspacing them what GM normally uses.

They have the same lug spacing but the backspacing should be very deep. Last I knew the Dodges were running over 5" of backspacing, closer to 6" even. You want about 4-4.5" at most. Stock on GM 8 lugs of our era was about 4.25".

I almost got a screaming deal on a set of Dodge aluminum 16x7's a few years ago. Then I realized how much backspacing they had and passed.

Well, his wheels are off set a little bit so that's why i'm thinking they're in the 4.5-5.5 range. I'll just have to see when we bolt one up. I hope the BS isn't too bad because I'd love to run them, but if not I can always buy them and then resell em

Ahhhhhh...thought you were talking about stock Dodge wheels.
