Will 1/2 or 3/4 ton front springs fit on a 1 ton?

I think they're the same, but just wanted to confirm. I'm very limited in spring selection with a 1 ton rating, and the springs are much stiffer of course. I'll trade the load capacity for more flex if they will fit. I'm planning on 4" TC HD's if they will fit, and a 4" shackle flip in the rear. I'll probably remove atleast the overloads in the rear to help with flex.

Yep, they'll fit. I have a set of 3/4 ton lifted springs onm my 82 K3500.

IIRC a 1 ton front spring is 3" wide whereas a 1/2-3/4 ton is only 2 1/2" wide. I would think that you would need to use a spacer of some sort in the spring hanger bracket to make up this difference otherwise the spring will move around 1/2" side to side in the frame brackets. :dunno:

I've got three 1 tons, they all have 2 1/2" wide front springs.

Okay, thanks for the response guys. I looked on Sky Jacker's site and they show the same part# for 1/2, 3/4, and 1ton front springs, so it looks like anything will fit.
