Will 208 adapter work for 205

I am putting a round pattern 205 in my truck (M1008) to replace my 208. Will the 208 adapter still work since a 208 is round or not....thanks alot.

i'm next to positive it won't..if you really want to use it then JD Conversions sells a kit to swap it over.

Im not sure of shaft lengths but the adpater wont have a boss for the shifter. It may bolt together but youd have to find a way to shift it...

Well, ok then. I think I will try and find the right adapter..surely they will be eaiser to find than the round pattern 205 was.
