Will 73-75 Doors fit on a 83???

I've already purchased a set of door off of a 73-75 K5 just haven't picked them up yet, and I'm going to make half doors out of Half doors. How ironic. Just wondering if they will fit in the door frame of my 83. I know most parts are interchangeable but I'm not for certain about these door lines.

Yeah the hinges and latches are in the same place. you won't have any problems with that your looking to do.

yep, the only differenve between the 73-76 doors, and the 77-87/91 doors is the interior trim hold downs. ( and hte access holes in the doors interior)

For Sure. Hey I have 2 doors that I can bring down and we can hack at them as much as we want. It is the one that I have in my pics at the bottom of my signiture and its partner. Let me know if you want me too...

i know dumb question, but i want to replace my rusty 74 doors with new doors with all the power options. I can just get doors off of a newer blazer. can get the replacement doors from lmc?

The doors are basically the same. The wing windows are different and also like was stated the interior mounting points. Putting newer doors on a full convert might not work to well since the newer ones have the piece around the glass the full converts don't. You can buy kits for power accessories in older vehicles and that might be the way to go for a full convert.

i forgot all about the lip on top of the window. i only asked b/c lmc didn't have the older doors.
