my buddy has an 88 chevy k1500 newer body style with a v6 and 4 speed and im wondering if the hydro clutch pedals will work in my 85 k30 that im planning on converting to sm465? thanks guys

88-up new body all diffrent. even steering coloum.

and the 88-up stick shift bell housing has pass side lower slave right in the way for swapin in our old stuff with pass side tcase drop.

but if its a 4 speed check for newer style aluminum top plate. thay had shorter throw shifter style. but floor needs mods as the tower is back further also. but good way to get shorter throw shift 465.

You can build a tab for the bellhousing and yes in theory it sounds do able since the slave cylinder pushes on the clutch fork where the mechanical linkage does too. But the last one I checked on was $160 plus shipping. Check Ebay, its where I found my whole "swap kit", I guess you could call it, for $308.xx shipped to my door. I actually just got it in today. But I lucked out and all the parts are pretty much like new. I'm going to be painting everything and what not.

damnit i hate needing the part that no one wants to get rid of and alot of people need!

Now I may be able to help you out. Not sure if he still has it but a buddy has a truck he was parting out and it had hydro stuff in it. I will call him tomorrow and see if he still has it.

If you can't find one local let me know. Our wrecking yards have a couple last time I was there
