will a 700r work with a 4.3 v6

i need to know if a 700r from a 1985 k5 blazer will work with a 1992 4.3 v6. im thinking about putting a straight axle in my s10.

It'll bolt right up and work fine. The throttle cable bracket will even have a spot for the TV cable.

You might want to swap the governor from the s-10 tranny (assuming it's a 4L60 [NOT to be confused with 4L60E!]) to the '85 tranny if you do the transplant, the flyweights are different between the two and the S-10 allows for higher shift points if balanced properly with the t/v cable adjustment.

As for the straight-axle swap, hope you have a good welder!
