the fact that a 93 is obd1 and a 97 is obd2 could be a problem. i think they made a few changes to the bellhousing and stuff that can be worked around.
97 is around time of cooler line diffrences. but basicly i think yes. and first few years had bad wirring harnness in the valve bodys. but i would ask a tranny shop if need be.
93 will need a 94 model computer, the pulse motor in the transmission is different frequency in 94 and newer. other than that, and the oil line difference, it should be plug and play. the 97 has one oil line near the rear of the case. easy to adapt.
Thanks for the input so far everybody. Its a possible trade item. What to do? pull the tbi 454 from a 93 c30 and put it in my 77 jimmy w 465,205,eaton detroit rear , 60 tracloc front, 4.56s, 38.5 groundhawgs, or put good tranny in c30 and sell. I think the tbi 454 needs to go in the Jimmy.
