Will a np205 bolt up inplace of a np203?

Looks like I need a new or rebuilt transfer case, shes slapping and clunking and jerking. I was going to go the cheap route and try to pick up a np2-3 from a junkyard, but if I can put a 205 in there id rather do that. It bolts to a th350. Also would I need to do anyother work besides botling a new one on?

You'll need the adapter, drive sleeve and shifter as well. I'm not sure but I think the TH350/205 tailshaft is different also.

Don't forget about the driveshaft mods too.
