Will a Suburban Tailgate work on my Blazer?

Hi All,

I have noticed that there are a ton of Suburban at the local Pick a Parts and most of them seem to have decent tailgate including all the hardware. Does anyone know if these are interchangeable with the Blazer Tailgate?

If not the whole tailgate how about just the glass?

The tailgate? No... The glass only? Not sure...

Suburban and Blazer tailgates and glass are different.

I think they have more the one type. The one that looks like a blazer one fits tho.

The gate AND glass ARE different and WILL NOT interchange.

A little bit of the guts interchange, that's it.

Yep, very, very few parts interchange between the two. The sub gates are taller, and the glass is shorter. The regulators are completely different, whether manual or electric.

Bummer, that's what I thought though. There seems to be a surplus of Suburban's at all the Pick -A-parts near me but no Decent Blazers yet. Oh well I will continu the search.
