I'm wanting to do a 'C' to 'K' conversion. There isn't plans for a big flexy lift in the future or anything. Just a simple conversion and a small stock size spring lift later.

Will they work or would I be better off (cheaper) finding stock hangers to use.

I believe the b52’s would move you axle forward even in the rear most mounting spot with the stock 47’s, but maybe only an inch. If thats ok for your set up then i would do it. Stock mounts would be cheaper, but the b52’s are a quality part and give you flexibility later if you want it. I would go with the b52’s.

Ok. An inch forward wouldn't be a big issue as long as I could get the push/pull steering to work with that for now.

I'm not sure what pulling stock springs an inch forward would do for the shackle angle though.

May not matter I guess since they need drilled and installed too lol

Yes you can but the hangers are narrower in order to use rear springs. Fronts have wider bushings and you'll need to trim a 1/4" if each side on the front bushings.

I bet if you call Kert and tell him what springs you are going to use, he can make a set of b52s for your application

Why not just do crossover right away , you already have the 2wd box on the truck.........
You know, that's a great idea. And I have no idea how it didn't cross my mind lol.

I'm thinking I'll try and find stock ones first, and if I can't I'll call kert.

They aren't on his site, but he at one point had talked about making a conversion mount. Maybe he figured out the measurements and frame hole template and it's a call only thing :dunno:

I have a truck that when I do all this, I could pull them off of. But it's it a lot easier if I could have all the hangers in place first so it's a quicker swap

Yes, they will fit 47's springs. When I first installed my abomb I had 4" lift 47" springs. I installed the springs in the rear most spot on the b52's. As stated above, the 47" springs have the "larger/wider" bushings. All I did was cut down the bushings/sleeves to fit inside the b52 hangers and that was it.
