Just like it says. I don`t want to spend the money on the edelbrocks if I don`t have to. My engine is certified as a 91. all I need to do is add the air injection.
Anyone know if they will clear OOBS frame rails?

Good because Edelbrocks are complete garbage. I have these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-65273/ and I HATE them. The exhaust collector flange gaskets totally proprietary and they dont stock the # 6964 anywhere. So when those go you are left with an annoying leak that is there part throttle. GRRRR:angry1:

Since you are in CA like me you are going to have to smog your truck. The edelbrocks are the only ones i know that are 50 state legal and have the A.I.R. tubes. You can add AIR tubes to any set of headers but they will not be "legal" in the eyes of the smog referee. Even if the SMOG system is hooked up and working you have to have the CARB number on the header somewhere.

i have a set of 88-up on my 73-87 style. small left hand frame rail clearence needed. and plug the o2 sensor hole off.

and fyi the edelbrock shorty headers i got chromed from them . i got them used off ebay. new test fit only and changed mind. didnt have gaskets or install set just headers. so i did some diggin at parts store.

found chevy big block heat riser gasket fits perfect for the 3 bolt flange for them and its got metal crush ring in the middle to help seal.

pics 3-4-5 show heder # and custom flanges i had cut with bbc heat riser gasket as template for the flange. http://coloradok5.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2351025&postcount=28

then install pics in frame with sbc. cut on left looks much worse than it realy is. trust me. http://coloradok5.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2574754&postcount=212

Thanks guys. The reason i ask, is that I am tired of getting bent over every time i need something. It seems that the aftermarket for GM trucks started at the GMT-400 line....anything that is close to reasonably priced anyway.
I have a state certification for the 91 TPI engine in the truck already, and that sticker only states AIR, along with other 91 z28 emissions equipment. Maybe I need 91 camaro headers, but all the f body headers I have seen don`t look like they would even replace stock manifolds. My friends 91 camaro looks like it has the same manifolds as my 86 stockers. The only other option is to get some 87 stockers, I`m sure they flow better than the logs i have on there now! I wonder if the 86 M code manifolds will fit?

Exactly! State is Crooked! Even if you prove a part to help a vehicle run cleaner and more efficient, and everything is hooked up, they don`t want to pass it, because the manufacturer doesn't want to pay the $10,000 or so to get it certified......legalized extortion!

Yes it is. But it is what it is. You legally can use any SMOG legal part from the DONOR vehicle (camaro) as long as you have paperwork for that part and since the engine is now titled to the K10 you are GTG
