Just being lazy (again)

But will the (Thorley) headers on my 3/4 ton 4x4 with a 350 fit my 72 K5?

The frame looks slightly tighter in this area so just throwing it out....

I think so, but it may be a pain. I put some blackjacks for a 2nd gen on mine and they work fine, BUT, I had to pull the starter, alternator, and all plugs to get them in. Also, the driver side collector is tight against the upper shackle bolt on the driver side so consider reversing the shackle bolt leaving the nut INSIDE in case you need to work the suspension. That way you won't have to pull the header again. This might not apply to your brand, but it's something to think about.

i have some that I haven't put in yet but the muff guy said that thay will fit with a little notch to the frame on one side. hes done many this way cause the Thorley headers that fit the newer 350 ar emuch better then the one made for are years...

I have Stans headers tri y on mine, he says there basiclly the same as Thorlys, he also said the later headers will fit auto applications. I did have to space my motor up on the pass. side to get one of the primary tubes to clear. Notching would have worked too. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
