Just picked up two spare tires for free. Currently have 35/12.50/r15 on the truck. The spares measure 315/75/r16. When put in tire converter, they come out to 34.5 inches. Will I mess up my drive train if I have to run these spares(trail damage to current tires or a flat tire on the highway. Just wondering or should I sell em and pick up some more 35"s?

It's a spare, you'll be fine. Your 35's probably aren't 35" tall. Put it on the front axle and unlock the hubs and it won't matter anyway.

Like Martin said, non issue. A lot of vehicles run undersized spares from the factory anyway, the only thing you would have to worry about is if you have a LSD

My 33's aren't really 33" tall on my pickup. My k5 has 315/75-r16 tires and a true trac limited slip in the rear. It came with a govbomb from the factory. Yes..........I upgraded a 10 bolt axle.

My spare (which I don't usually carry) is a 33". How big of a problem is it to run a 315/75 and a 33 together? I am guessing if I ever needed a spare on the rear it would be best to put a front tire on the back and run the spare on the front. I have a np208 so it is not full time 4wd.

Correct.

Again Martin is the man with the answers...

Just to elaborate the G80 locks up when it "senses" a wheel speed difference of ~10 MPH while going less than ~20 MPH. Its to early for me to do math, so I'm really not sure at what point the difference in tire sizes will affect it. I just remember my ZR2 S10 had one and there were some tricks to it...
