I'm assuming yes, but will a rear axle out of my 89 K5 bolt straight up into a 90 1/2 ton pickup?

No, an 89 K5 is the old body, a 90 P/U is the IFS body. You will need to move spring perches & shock mounts.

I'm aware that the 90 is IFS... but spring perches and shockmounts are differen't? Ok.

It can't weigh much more than 300lbs. My budy and I picked one up and moved it fairly easily with just the 2 of us. That D70 that replaced it on the other hand...

That's because I'm the devil.

The rear 10 bolt should be about 325 lbs with drums and all.

I thought the front was around 350... the 10 bolt front weighs a lot more than the 10 bolt rear... hmmm... well I thought I would be able to ship this thing for $100... guess not.
