i have an 85 k10 350/465/208 6" tuff country and 35's.i found a 465/205 setup from a 78 k20 with all the shifters and the cross-member.i'm looking to replace the 465/208 with the 465/205 setup.my question is, will this bolt directly in or are there certain modifications i'll need to make? outside of a new driveshaft.

Think it will bolt right up. May have to make some different holes for the crossmember. Other than that I think you're good

is the 208 on the truck now a slip yoke or fixed?

most likley your goning to need a new driveshaft
