Will it swap over?

I have a 91 Jimmy full size and need to know if a custom bumper with a 12 000 LB winch will swap over from an 85 !/2 Ton (chev)
Do they have the same frame set up or is there modifications req. to make it fit my 91?
I may also just buy the whole truck but I don't think a whole lot of parts are a direct swap (from 85 to 91)?

yes it will bolt up, there are alot of parts that will swap from a 85 to a 91.

I understand things as a unit will swap over , tranny ,t case , diffs. etc. but internal parts like axles are different spline count .

85 and 91 have the same frame. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Frames are the same. The only differences I know of are front shackle lengths and bolt sizes. Axle shafts change in 89 but the not the housings. The bumper will fit perfectly.
