I have a center bolt 350 stock in my 89 truck... will the earlier 350 fit the tbi... and will the CA smog nazis catch its an earlier motor by the valve covers?

Will late gen 2 tbi fit on an earlier chevy motor ? CALIF smog?

If you're wanting to install your TBI onto an older engine and keep it installed in the later truck then yes they most likely will notice the perimeter style valve covers and not smog it since it is illegal to install an older engine into a newer vehicle.
