What types of oem wheels will fit a 79 k5 6lug? Im not sure if them will clear the hub, I know 80-95 4x4 toyotas will fit, and prolly hardbody niassans. will the new froniter wheels fit? maybe titan?
there are a lot of junkyards here and i like those styles, and they are really cheep. there are no 4x4 stores with in 75 miles of my home. so i dont what to buy new wheels and ship them if im gonna tear them up on the trails....

Just went out to my parts stash and measured backspacing on a 1998 16x7 z 71 wheel and also a 2006 6 lug 17x7 aluminum silverado rim and they are both about 6 inches.

I dont have a M1009 so I dont know if they will fit, but I bet they are too deep - might need spacers. You will have to do some measuring on your wheels and how much clearance on brake calipers and such.

No. Too much backspacing and the center hub is too wide.

good to know i almost got a set of alloy z71 16" wheels and tires for 100 bucks. i just wanted them for the tires. figured the rims might fit.

The 8 lug wheels from 3/4 and 1 ton IFS trucks will fit our body style SFA 8 lug trucks but the same isn't true of the 6 lug trucks. People get confused by this sometimes.

I have some steel late model 17's just for rollers , with the centers opened up with a grinder . That or drilling is the only way to make the six luggers fit . I probably wouldn't want to drive on it though
